Pregnancy Choices Laugh for Life
Please join us for Pregnancy Choices' first-ever Laugh for a Cause. Enjoy an evening of laughter and fellowship and learn more about what Pregnancy Choices offers to the communities it serves. Pregnancy Choices is the only pregnancy resource center in Greene County and the surrounding areas. In addition to serving Sullivan County clients at our Linton location, Pregnancy Choices teaches sexual risk avoidance education in Sullivan County public schools. Community donors, churches, and organizations fully fund Pregnancy Choices. Your support of this event will ensure more men and women receive the help they need. Thank you.
Come enjoy a night out with some laughs and support a great cause. Tim Boyd will bring some clean comedy to the show, along with personnel testimony and information on how Pregnancy Choices impacts the community and its clients.
Pregnancy Choices is a medical clinic with two RNs on staff; we offer free pregnancy tests, limited OB ultrasounds, and STI testing and treatments.
Pregnancy Choices also provides free pregnancy/parenting education to men and women and provides support during and after pregnancy. Men and women taking these classes can earn in-house baby bucks and shop at Pregnancy Choices Trinity Place baby boutique for all their baby needs.
We also serve outside the walls of the center. Pregnancy Choices provides sexual risk avoidance across the public schools in Greene County and Sullivan County. Sexual risk avoidance education, or abstinence until marriage, is the state requirement. Pregnancy Choices uses a curriculum created by Clarity of South Central Indiana called “I Decide For Me” (IDFM). IDFM uses multimedia and interactive presentations to challenge students to explore the holistic consequences of risky sexual behavior and the benefits of waiting until marriage. The curriculum begins with foundational skills of healthy decision-making, boundary setting, and identifying trusted, go-to adults. The curriculum presents the concept of forward-thinking concerning long-term goals and lifestyle outcomes. Students learn to engage in complex topics in a wholesome and age-appropriate way, empowering them to live a life of sexual integrity. Every student deserves to know they are valuable, worth protecting, and worth respecting.
